The Habitized Life

We are so excited you’re here. You’ve made an awesome choice for yourself and your family. Whether you’re here to learn about small tweaks you can make in your life that bring big changes or are ready to buckle down and do a complete overhaul, we are here to meet you where you are.

But first, can we get real for a second?

If you’re like most of the women we work with, you’re inundated with health and wellness advice day in and day out. Never before in history have there been so many protocols, detoxes, supplements, or supposed super-diets that promise to deliver on a bikini-ready body in ten days or less. There are fitness gurus on YouTube, diets from low carb to no carb to all the carbs and more fitness influencers on Instagram than there are friends in your feed.

Don’t get us wrong--we’re not knocking social media at all (after all, that’s probably how you found us -- hooray!). But we DO think a lot of sound advice is drowned out by noise and that noise is doing women--and especially mothers--a grave disservice.

Because a lot of that stuff sets you up to fail.

All that space we had in our 20s just isn’t available in our 30s or 40s. And it’s not fair to expect yourself to live up to those standards when you have different priorities (you know, like keeping tiny humans alive or paying a mortgage).

But you’re here because you want to create an opportunity for yourself. You want to find a new, sustainable, healthy reality for yourself and your family. A reality where...

  • Health and wellness is enjoyable, meaningful, and something for the whole family (not something that you beat yourself up over all the time.)

  • Your life reflects what you know about nutrition, exercise, and habit creation for mothers – and, more specifically, it’s what you know works for YOU.

  • Your kids learn what taking care of themselves really means, and develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime, instead of passing diet culture down to them like it very likely was passed down to you.

  • You get to define what it means to be your healthiest you NOW, not based on a picture of you when you were in your 20's or 30's (don’t get us wrong, you looked HOT AF, but you’re beautiful now and your body is strong and literally grew human beings inside it.)

ENTER THE HABITIZED LIFE.

You don’t need another get-it-done-in-x-days plan or restrictive diet to feel your best.

The Habitized Life is designed to help you:

  • Create small shifts that are SUSTAINABLE and help you create your healthiest life.

  • Encourage your family members--no matter what age or stage they are in-- to create healthy habits so wellness becomes something you do together.

  • Do LESS not more to feel better. Ditch the long list of habits that are unattainable and make us feel bad. Make fewer choices and feel better about them.

  • Identify the most important motivators you need to focus on...and give yourself permission to ignore the rest.

  • Focus on what you CAN control (like your habits), and release what you CAN’T (like the number on the scale).

  • Find more joy, serenity, and meaning in your life overall.

We’ve created a system that dives into five core motivators that are the real reasons behind the goals we set. First we figure out your WHY and then we work on your HOW. If you don’t know why you’re doing something, the habit isn’t going to stick.

Heads up: It’s going to be messy. And you may have to reevaluate your why along the way.

But you’re going to have a better understanding of yourself and what motivates you. That is going to lead to long-term changes and you’re going to be a real-life influencer to the people who matter the most.

Enjoy the journey. We’re glad you made it.
